A Procedure to Rework Bucket Pin Bores is Used on Certain 980H and 980K Wheel Loaders {6101, 6102, 6108}

Usage:

7NW
Wheel Loader:
980H (S/N: A8J1-UP; JMS1-UP; KZL1-UP; MHG1-UP)
980K (S/N: GTZ1-UP; W7K1-UP)
Work Tool:
Bucket (S/N: Z1A1-UP; 7NW1-UP)

Description of Change: Some 980H and 980K Wheel Loader buckets utilize press fit bearings in the "B" and "C" pin bores to maintain proper tolerances.

However these bearings are not identified in the parts pages on SIS. There are two part numbers of the "B" and "C" pin bearings that were used.

Refer to Table 1 for a list of the affected buckets and to Special Instruction, REHS7082, "Procedure to Rework Bucket Pin Bores on Certain 980H and 980K Wheel Loaders" in order to aid in identification of the part numbers of the bearings.

Table 1
Affected Buckets
Part Number     Description
330-4357     General Purpose Bucket As
330-4358     General Purpose Bucket As
349-8661     General Purpose Bucket As
363-9843     Rock Bucket As

Adaptable To: The above procedure is affected with the following serial numbers.

The following effective buckets no longer utilize pressed fit bearings in the "B" and "C" pin bores.

  • Bucket (S/N: Z1A14609)

  • Bucket (S/N: 7NW8162)

The following affected buckets may utilize pressed fit bearings in the "B" and "C" pin bores.

  • Bucket (S/N: Z1A1-14608)

  • Bucket (S/N: 7NW1-8161)
