Release Note:

VIMSpc 2011A Update utility will update VIMS master data definition to version 11.0.3. The update will also provide the following improvements for VIMSpc 2011A production version:

• Support build-in VIMS onboard configuration. No need for dummy .cfg for Wheel Loader applications.

• Fixed a problem with Datalogger downloads that are not filtered by machines selected.

• A scroll bar is added in the Download window to show all data types available.

• Fixed an issue when migrating data from previous versions of VIMSpc.

• Improved the speed of switching between tabs in Report window.

• Fixed a problem with not able to graph snapshot if equipment number is modified.

Before Installation:

1. Admin right is required to install the update utility.

2. VIMSpc 2011A production version needs to be installed.

3. If VIMSpc 2009B version is also installed on the PC, it will not be affected by the update utility.

Installation:

1. If VIMSpc is running, exit it.

2. Run "VIMSpc2011A Update.exe" file.

3. Follow the installation dialogs.

After Installation:

1. Launch VIMSpc 2011A. It will prompt to update the master database. Refer to the Illustration 1.

2. Click "Yes" to update master data definition.

3. Once the update is completed, VIMSpc main window will appear. The version numbers shown in the Illustration 2 will appear in the window title.

Note: The master data update will be applied to the current user database only. When a different user database with older master definition is selected, VIMSpc 2011A will prompt to update master data definition.
