UPSView is an optional software package for data monitoring. The UPSView software monitors a wide range of operating parameters of the UPS. The software incorporates real-time parameter tracking. The software displays the parameters on a computer display. The software gives the user access to a wide range of data. The data is displayed in a graphical format and a text format. The following information is displayed:
- Input currents
- Input voltages
- Output currents
- Output voltages
- Temperatures
- State of system components
- Event logs
UPSView includes the following items:
- Remote notification capabilities
- Historical plots
- Expandable windows
- Event logging
- System diagnostic aids
UPSView is used as a diagnostic tool. UPSView is used to download the history of events for the UPS from a local location or a remote location. Additionally, the software is used to analyze the "Alarm" conditions or "Notice" conditions. The software also allows the user to cancel paging notification events remotely.
UPSView Software is based on a Client/Server architecture. The software license covers the following items: UPS server capabilities and UPS client capabilities. These capabilities enable access via an Ethernet connection between an Ethernet server and the user.
- UPSView is compatible with Windows 95/98/NT 4.0/2000/XP Windows 7.
The following input measurements are monitored and displayed by UPSView:
- Three-phase line voltage
- Three-phase current
- Frequency
- Total power (kW)
- Total kVA
- Input power factor
The following output measurements are monitored and displayed by UPSView:
- Three-phase line voltage
- Three-phase current
- Frequency
- Total power (kW)
- Total kVA
- Output power factor
The following internal system measurements are monitored and displayed by UPSView:
- Temperature of the air in the cabinet
- Air inlet temperature
- Temperature of the static switch
