Introduction
The problem that is identified in the technical information bulletin that follows does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.
Problem
There is a potential random and simultaneous double command on the AC Bypass static switch / inverter static switch during the UPS start-up (power supply energizing phase).
Solution
There is a new start-up procedure for UPSB 125/130 UPS systems to avoid possible dropped load and/or damage to the system. The new start-up procedure for Unitary and Parallel units is published in PowerNet as well as included in this bulletin.
The following flowcharts show the process for placing UPSB 125/130 UPS systems into maintenance and troubleshooting mode.
