New Air Starter Lubricant Supply Lines Are Used on Certain C32 Marine Engines {1451}

Usage:

C32 RND
Generator Set:
C32 (S/N: RNE1-UP; RNX1-UP)
Marine Engine:
C32 (S/N: RND1-UP; RNY1-UP; RNZ1-UP; RNF1-UP)

Description of Change: New air starter fuel supply lines are used. The new fuel supply lines are more durable.

Adaptable To: The new 377-2786 Fuel Hose As is now used in place of the old 308-3051 Tube As in the right-hand side 334-1528 Air Starting Motor Gp and 308-1857 Air Starting Motor Gp.

(1) 377-2786 Fuel Hose As

Note: To install the 377-2786 Fuel Hose As in non-fuel cooled installations, the following parts are required to connect to the fuel pressure regulating manifold: 6V-8782 Tee, 238-5080 O-Ring Seal, 6V-9851 Elbow and two 228-7090 O-Ring Seals. Refer to Illustration 1 for an example of these parts installed. No additional parts are needed to install the 377-2786 Fuel Hose As in fuel cooled installations.

The new 377-2785 Fuel Hose As is now used in place of the old 308-7539 Tube As in the left-hand side 334-1529 Air Starting Motor Gp and 308-1858 Air Starting Motor Gp .

Note: To install the 377-2785 Fuel Hose As, the existing clipping locations are to be used to secure the fuel supply line. The procedures are the same for both fuel cooled and non-fuel cooled installations. The upper most clip securing the new tube assembly will have to be reoriented to accommodate the new tube assembly's 45 degree bend. Refer to Illustration 2.The new tube assemblies are adaptable back to first production and are effective from production on the serial numbers listed in Table 1.
