Fuel Pressure Regulator - Remove and Install
- Turn the fuel supply to the Off position.

Illustration 1 g02730870 - Disconnect hose assembly (1) and the port connector.
- Disconnect hose assembly (3) and the adapter.
- Loosen clamp assembly (4) and remove the tube.
- Remove fuel pressure regulator (2).

- Remove O-ring seal (6), back-up ring (7), and O-ring seal (8) from check valve (5). Repeat for the other check valve.
- Install fuel pressure regulator (2) in the reverse order of removal.
- Tighten check valves (5) to a torque of
28 ± 3 N·m (21 ± 2 lb ft) . - Tighten clamp assembly (4) to a torque of
8.5 ± 2 N·m (75 ± 18 lb in) .
- Tighten check valves (5) to a torque of
