Description of Change: The process of hardening and coating makes the new engine oil cooler bypass valve more rugged than the previous valve.
Adaptable To: The new 362-4241 Bypass Valve replaces the previously used 2W-1969 Bypass Valve in the engines that are listed above.
The new bypass valve is adaptable to the engines that are listed above back to first production.
The new bypass valve is effective with the following serial numbers:
- WYB00627
- P6L00146
