The manufacturer of the Caterpillar flywheel UPS systems is no longer accepting direct inquiries from dealers for troubleshooting support and product health issues. Dealer product support is provided through the DSN, as with all other Caterpillar products. DSN Tier 1 support is available 24 hours per day and 7 days per week for all product support issues. Tier 2 product support is available 24 hours per day and 7 days per week for high priority and mission critical situations.

Electric Power Division Customer Service has allocated additional resources to provide required product support.

This change is adaptable to the products that are listed above and effective from 14January 2011.
