Engine Oil Pressure Sensor - Remove and Install

Removal Procedure


NOTICE

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.

Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

  1. Disconnect harness assembly (1).

  2. Remove engine oil pressure sensor (2) from the cylinder block.

  3. Remove the O-ring seal from engine oil pressure sensor (2).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the engine oil pressure sensor (2) in the reverse order of removal.

      Note: Check the O-ring seals, the gaskets, and the seals for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary.

    1. Install engine oil pressure sensor (2 ) and tighten to a torque of 10 ± 2 N·m (89 ± 18 lb in).
