Exhaust Cooler (NRS) - Remove and Install
- Drain the coolant from the cooling system into a suitable container for storage or disposal. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant - Change".

- Remove clamp assembly (1).
Note: Clamp assembly (3) is a one time use part. Discard the clamp assembly if the clamp is loosened.
- Remove clamp assembly (3) and position the tube assembly out of the way. Discard clamp assembly (3).
- Remove bolts (2) and remove the tube assembly.

- Remove clamp assembly (5) and discard the clamp assembly.
- Remove clamp assembly (6).
- Remove bolts (8) and remove tube assembly (7).

16 kg (35 lb) . - Repeat 1 through 9 for the opposite side.
- Install exhaust cooler (9) in the reverse order.
- Tighten clamp assemblies (5) and (3) to a torque of
7.5 ± 1 N·m (66 ± 9 lb in) . - Lubricate the O-ring seals that are found on tube assemblies (7) and (2) with the lubricant that is being sealed.
- Tighten clamp assemblies (5) and (3) to a torque of
Note: Check the O-ring seals, the gaskets, and the seals for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary
