Receiving Inspection

Usage:

PMG3516 KAD
Perform the following procedure after the power module has been delivered.

  1. Inspect the power module for any internal damage or external damage that may have occurred during shipping.

  1. Open the generator controls compartment. Inspect the bus bar connections at the generator circuit breaker. Ensure that all electrical connections are properly tightened. If necessary, torque the connections.

  1. Ensure that all operator interface devices work properly. Operator interface devices include switches, lights, and circuit breakers.

  1. Ensure that all of the control relays are seated in the relay base. If a relay is not seated correctly, then carefully push the relay onto the base. Ensure that the clip that secures the relay is installed.

  1. Turn on the DC power. Ensure that all electronic devices are operating properly.

  1. Verify that no shutdowns are active.

  1. Check the batteries for proper voltage level.

  1. Turn off the DC power.
