Receiving Inspection
Perform the following procedure after the power module has been delivered.
- Inspect the power module for any internal damage or external damage that may have occurred during shipping.
- Open the generator controls compartment. Inspect the bus bar connections at the generator circuit breaker. Ensure that all electrical connections are properly tightened. If necessary, torque the connections.
- Ensure that all operator interface devices work properly. Operator interface devices include switches, lights, and circuit breakers.
- Ensure that all of the control relays are seated in the relay base. If a relay is not seated correctly, then carefully push the relay onto the base. Ensure that the clip that secures the relay is installed.
- Turn on the DC power. Ensure that all electronic devices are operating properly.
- Verify that no shutdowns are active.
- Check the batteries for proper voltage level.
- Turn off the DC power.
