The 1U-8846 Gasket Sealant is cancelled from the Caterpillar parts system. Any stock that remains in the distribution system will be exhausted.
Caterpillar is also ending the distribution of sealants and adhesives.
If a failure is found with fluid leaking past the sealant, do not use the 1U-8846 Gasket Sealant as the cause of the failure because the sealant is being discontinued. Report the failure against the 8C-8422 Sealant, which is the bulk package of the sealant. Use the problem description code of 93.
