G3520C (S/N: GZB1-UP; GZN1-UP; RLP1-UP; LGS1-UP; CWW1-UP; GDB1-UP; GHE1-UP)

Description of Change: Improvements have been made to the exhaust manifold groups for G3520C Engines with single turbochargers. The exhaust elbows have been redesigned in order to reduce the thermal expansion that causes misalignment to the bellows.

Improvements have been made to the exhaust heat shields for G3520C Engines with single turbochargers. The exhaust heat shields have been redesigned in order to allow less heat to escape from the exhaust manifolds.

The 200-6550 Exhaust Manifold Gp

The 200-6550 Exhaust Manifold Gp for the G3520C includes the following changes. The 301-3073 Bellows As and the 305-3447 Seals can be retrofitted to any G3500C Engine. All parts that are listed in Table 1 must be used as an entire group.

Table 1 applies to the following serial numbers: GHE1-UP, CWW1-UP, GZN1-UP, RLP1-UP and GZB1-UP.

The 320-9157 Exhaust Manifold Gp

The 320-9157 Exhaust Manifold Gp that is for G3520C Engines with a single turbocharger that use bio-gas include the following changes. The 308-4493 Bellows As, 264-5140 Bellows As, and the 305-3447 Seals can be retrofitted to any G3500C Engine that uses bio-gas. All other parts that are listed in Table 2 must be used as an entire group.

Table 2 applies to the serial numbers LGS1-UP.

The 333-1464 Manifold Shield and 336-5672 Exhaust Shield Gp

The 333-1464 Manifold Shield and 336-5672 Exhaust Shield Gp for G3520C Engines are compatible with the new parts in the above 200-6550 Exhaust Manifold Gp or 320-9157 Exhaust Manifold Gp .

Note: The exhaust clamps must be oriented correctly for a proper fit of the bolts in the pocket of the manifold shield.

Refer to Table 3 for the list of parts that make up the 333-1464 Manifold Shield.

Refer to Table 4 for the list of parts that make up the 336-5672 Exhaust Shield Gp.

Table 3 and Table 4 apply to the following serial numbers: GHE1-UP, CWW1-UP, GZN1-UP, RLP1-UP, LGS1-UP and GZB1-UP.

The 350-3116 Exhaust Shield Gp

A new 350-3116 Exhaust Shield Gp is available for G3520C Engines.

The 350-3116 Exhaust Shield Gp replaces the following groups: 237-9816 Exhaust Shield, 237-9817 Exhaust Shield, 237-9818 Exhaust Shield, 237-9819 Exhaust Shield and 237-9820 Exhaust Shield .

The new 350-3116 Exhaust Shield Gp can not be used with the 333-1464 Manifold Shield .

The 350-3116 Exhaust Shield Gp is compatible with the following groups:

• 218-3184 Shield As

• 218-3185 Shield As

• 218-3186 Shield As

• 218-3187 Shield As

• 218-3188 Shield As

• 218-3189 Shield As

• 218-3190 Shield As
