Introduction
The 332-4697 Support As is more robust than previous support assemblies for the alternator. This Special Instruction explains the procedures that are used in order to remove the old support assemblies and the procedure that is used in order to mount the new support assembly.
Do not perform any procedure in this Special Instruction until you read this information and you understand this information.
Safety Section
Personal injury can result from failure to disconnect the battery. First, disconnect the negative battery cable. Then, disconnect the positive battery cable. A positive power lead can cause sparks if the battery is not disconnected. Sparks can possibly result in battery explosion or fire. |
