Water Tank - Remove and Install

Start By:
- Remove the operator platform. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Operator Platform - Remove and Install".
Note: Put identification marks on all hoses, on all hose assemblies, on all wires, and on all tube assemblies for installation purposes. Plug all hose assemblies and all tube assemblies. This helps to prevent fluid loss, and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.
- Drain the water from the water tank. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual for the proper procedure.
- Loosen the hose clamps and remove hose (3) .

- Remove fitting (2) from water tank (1) .
- Disconnect harness assembly (5) .

- Remove the bolts and plate (4) .
- Move hose assemblies (7) and harness assembly (6) out of the way.

- Attach a suitable lifting device to support (8). The weight of support (8) is approximately 80 kg (176 lb). Remove bolts (9) and bolts (10). Remove support (8) from the machine.

- Remove bolts (12) and brackets (11) from the rear of the water tank.

- Remove the bolts and brackets (13) from the front of the water tank.

- Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to water tank (1). Remove water tank (1) from the frame. The weight of water tank (1) is approximately 51 kg (112 lb).

Installation Procedure

- Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to water tank (1). The weight of water tank (1) is approximately 51 kg (112 lb). Install water tank (1) into the frame.

- Install brackets (13) and the bolts to the front of the water tank.

- Install brackets (11) and bolts (12) to the rear of the water tank.

- Attach a suitable lifting device to support (8). The weight of support (8) is approximately 80 kg (176 lb). Install support (8), bolts (9), and bolts (10) .

- Reposition hose assemblies (7) and harness assembly (6) .

- Install fitting (2) to water tank (1) .

- Install hose (3) and tighten the hose clamps.
- Fill the water tank. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual for the proper procedure.
End By: Install the operator platform. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Operator Platform - Remove and Install".
