A filtered vent is available for the fuel tank fast fill vent. It provides spill protection from the vent.
The filtered vent is adaptable to all of the machines listed above.
The installation procedure is dependent upon the type of vent assembly used. Refer to Table 1 and Table 2 and the following procedures for details.

- Loosen the clamp and disconnect 9Y-3349 Disposal Hose (1) from 6G-7803 Vent As (2) .

- Install 332-1529 Filter-Vent (4) to 6G-7803 Vent As (2). Tighten split nut (3) to a torque of 8.5 N·m (75 lb in).

- Connect 9Y-3349 Disposal Hose (1) to 332-1529 Filter-Vent (4) and tighten the clamp.

- Loosen the clamp and disconnect 122-6916 Hydraulic Hose (2) from 5V-6106 Vent As (1) .

- Remove fitting (3) from 5V-6106 Vent As (1) .
Note: Ensure that the resin is removed from the inside of 5V-6106 Vent As and the face of the vent is clean.

- Install 332-1529 Filter-Vent (5) to 5V-6106 Vent As (1). Tighten split nut (4) to a torque of 8.5 N·m (75 lb in)

- Connect 122-6916 Hydraulic Hose (2) to 332-1529 Filter-Vent (5) and tighten the clamp.

- Repeat Step 1 through Step 4 for the other side fuel tank.
Vent Filter Poppet - Replace
Note: The following procedure applies to machines equipped with either a 6G-7803 Vent As or 5V-6106 Vent As .
- Loosen the clamp and disconnect the hose.
- Remove housing cap (3) and spring (2).
Note: Reuse the spring when replacing the filter poppet.

- Remove 332-1530 Filter Poppet (1). Properly discard filter poppet (1) .
- Install a new filter poppet (1) .
- Install housing cap (3) and spring (2). Tighten the housing cap to a torque of 8.5 N·m (75 lb in).
- Connect the hose and tighten the clamp.
