An Improved Bearing is Now Used in the Torque Converter for Certain Oil/Gas Transmissions {3101}

Description of Change: The ball bearing for the torque converter is subject to thrust load under certain applications. The ball bearing has minimal capacity for thrust load and this thrust load can result in shortened bearing life.
Adaptable To: The 8M-2031 Ball Bearing can be replaced with the 4M-5227 Ball Bearing .
The new 4M-5227 Ball Bearing is effective with the following transmissions:
- TH48-E80 FRT331
- TH48-E80 FRT1-330
