  1. Position suitable cribbing under push arms (5).

  2. Slowly move the machine between push arms (5). Engage push arms (5) with trunnions (9).

  3. Attach a suitable lifting device to bearing cap (7). The weight of bearing cap (7) is approximately 73 kg (160 lb).

  4. Use the suitable lifting device in order to position bearing cap (7). Do not install shims (8) at this time. Install bolts (6). Tighten bolts (6) evenly and maintain an equal dimension on both sides of bearing cap (7).

  5. Insert an equal amount of shims (8) (not shown) in the spaces between bearing cap (7) and push arm (5). Then, add one additional shim (8) to each of the spaces. This should allow push arms (5) to move freely on the trunnion within the specified clearance. The specified clearance between the trunnion and push arms (5) is 0.50 ± 0.25 mm (0.020 ± 0.010 inch).

  6. Tighten bolts (6).

  7. Repeat Steps 4 through 6 for push arm (5) on the opposite side of the machine.

  8. Release the system pressure. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "System Pressure - Release".

  11. Start the engine. Extend the lift cylinder rods to the blade.

  12. Stop the engine.

  13. Install pin (2), retainer (1), and bolts (3). Repeat this step for the remaining lift cylinder.
