Assembly Procedure

1. Install bushings (10) and retaining rings (9) to plate assembly (1) .

2. Apply Tooling (A) to plates (6) .

3. Apply Tooling (B) to adjusters (7). Install adjusters (7) to plate assembly (1). Set the gap from the top of plates (6) to the top of adjusters (7) to 12.0 mm (0.5 inch).

4. Install nuts (8) to adjusters (7). Tighten nuts (8) to a torque of 200 ± 40 N·m (150 ± 30 lb ft).

5. Attach a suitable lifting device to plate assembly (1). The weight of plate assembly (1) is approximately 68 kg (150 lb). Install plate assembly (1) in frame (2) .

6. Install tube assemblies (5) .

7. Install caps (3) and bolts (4) to frame (2) .

End By: Install the height adjuster jack. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Height Adjuster Jack (Extender) - Remove and Install".
