An Improved Front Mounted Open Crankcase Ventilation System Is Now Used {1074, 1317}

Description of Change: An improved front mounted Open Crankcase Ventilation system (OCV) is now used on the engines that are listed above.
The OCV system increases the proportion of oil to condensate. This allows the emulsion to readily flow back to the oil pan.
Reference: Refer to Special Instruction, REHS3832 in order to view the required parts list and the assembly instructions.
Adaptable To: The new improved front mounted OCV system is adaptable back to the first production of the above listed engines. The change is effective with the engine serial numbers LEE18930-UP.
