A New Procedure is Available to Install the New Heater Elements on Asphalt Screeds {6643, 664E}
- Asphalt Screed:
- 10-20B (S/N: BWN1-UP)
- 8-16B (S/N: BWL1-UP)
- AS2251 (S/N: CWF1-UP)
- AS2301 (S/N: AWC1-UP)
New heater elements for the screed plates with improvements in sealing and wiring are being used on asphalt screeds. Refer to Special Instruction, REHS3529, "Procedure to Install the New Heater Elements on Asphalt Screeds".
The Special Instruction is available through the normal literature distribution system. The publication can also be found on the Caterpillar Service Information System (SIS).
