Introduction
The problem that is identified in the technical information bulletin that follows does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.
Problem
The canopy on the bodies on 793F off-highway trucks has been lengthened in order to cover the walkway assembly that is on the front of the truck. Fully raise the truck body. The distance from the top of the canopy to the floor changed. You must check the height of the ceiling in the shop. The new, longer canopy could hit the ceiling. This could cause damage to the ceiling.
Solution
Before you raise the truck body to the full DUMP position, make sure that the new, longer canopy will not hit the ceiling in the shop.

Refer to Illustration 1. The first measurement is for a truck that contains the former truck body. The largest tires that are available are also installed on the truck. The distance from the top of the truck body (1) to the floor (2) was 13171 mm (518.5 inch).
