The CDVR has been improved. The 314-7755 Voltage Regulator As replaces the former 235-5725 Voltage Regulator As. The following improvements are included:

Manual Revision - The new CDVR manual revision has been improved to include enhanced diagnostics, additional instructional illustrations, and more detailed setup information. Refer to Systems Operation, Testing & Adjusting and Troubleshooting, RENR7941.

The CDVR is a voltage regulator that has extensive capability. Generator Sets equipped with the CDVR from the factory are shipped with CDVR basic settings. Additional configuration of settings is required at time of the commissioning procedure for the generator set. The new manual revision provides guidance to help in CDVR settings.

New Hardware - The mounting for the new 314-7755 Voltage Regulator As has been increased in strength and greater durability in order to resist cracking from over torquing of the mounting hardware.

New Software - The new 318-4763 Generator Set Software Gp has enhanced J1939 communication, improved watchdog alarm timer functionality, and a lower reverse KVAR setting (10% of total rated KVAR).
