Use the following procedure to tighten the bolts.

1. Install guide studs in locations (9) and (10). Use three incremental steps to tighten the bolts. Tighten bolt (1) through bolt (8) .

   Torque for bolts ... 175 ± 30 N·m (129 ± 22 lb ft)

2. Remove the guide studs from locations (9) and (10) .

3. Install the spacers in locations (9) and (10) .

4. Install the rear bolts in locations (9) and (10) .

   Torque for bolts ... 105 ± 20 N·m (77 ± 15 lb ft)

5. Tighten the front bolts in locations (9) and (10) .

   Torque for bolts ... 175 ± 30 N·m (129 ± 22 lb ft)

(11) Torque for two studs ... 65 ± 10 N·m (48 ± 7 lb ft)

(12) Lubricate the bore lightly with glycerin or an approved equivalent.
