Description of Change: The new exhaust riser brackets have been developed with two brackets instead of one on the right side of the engine. The new brackets are made with thicker material in order to increase fatigue life.
Adaptable To: The new exhaust riser brackets are in the 274-8565 Exhaust Manifold Gp and the new brackets are a direct replacement of the previous brackets. The following part numbers are the new part numbers.

The 246-6187 Bracket As (1) on the left hand side of the engine is replaced by the 285-3370 Bracket (2).

The 246-6188 Bracket As (3) on the right hand side of the engine is replaced by the 285-6567 Bracket (4) and the 285-6568 Bracket As (5) .
The former exhaust riser brackets have been cancelled. The former exhaust riser brackets have been replaced by the new exhaust riser brackets. The new exhaust riser brackets are adaptable to all earlier engines.
Table 1 shows the effectivity of the new exhaust riser brackets.
