(2) Interface control module (5) Relay 1 for engine start |
With the key start switch in the ON position, 24 volt power is supplied from the batteries via circuit breaker 5 and circuit breaker 6 to remote control switch (1) and Power Train ECM (3) .
When remote control switch (1) is in the ON position, 24 volt power is supplied to interface control module (2). When the start switch on the transmitter is moved to the START position, a radio signal is sent by the transmitter to the receiver. The receiver sends a signal to interface control module (2). With the relay 1 for engine start (5) energized 24 volt power is supplied to J2-1 on the Power Train ECM. This signals Power Train ECM (3) to start the engine.
Connector contact 33 is connected to J2-1 of the Power Train ECM.

(7) Starting motor (8) Starting motor solenoid |
The Power Train ECM energizes start relay magnetic switch (6). When start relay magnetic switch (6) is energized, 24 volt power is supplied to starting motor solenoid (8). When starting motor solenoid (8) is energized 24 volt power is supplied to starting motor (7). The engine will begin to crank.
