Solution
Illustration 1 | g01418976 |
(1) Correctly assembled 226-3423 Control Panel Gp (Alarm Panel, Key Switch) (2) 8 pin plug |
Determine if the control panel is assembled correctly. Hold the control panel with the printed side facing toward you. The 8 pin plug (2) should be pointed downward. Refer to Illustration 1. If the Caterpillar Marine Power logo is upright the control panel is not faulty. If the logo is upside-down the control panel is faulty. Return the faulty control panel to the dealer through the return parts system. If there is an urgent need for the control panel, the wire connector bar can be rewired correctly by the dealer.
