Description of Change: The hoses from the main hydraulic pump to the main control valve have an improved routing in order to prevent damage to the hoses.
Adaptable To: The 160-6094 Hose As, 242-4965 Hose As or the 242-4966 Hose As may be subject to abrasive wear. These three hoses connect between the pump and the main control valve. The hoses are routed from the left side of the engine compartment through the firewall and across the machine to the main control valve on the right side of the machine.

Contact with the engine flywheel housing can be avoided by adjusting the orientation of the 211-4039 Tee As (5) that connect the hoses to the pump.
Abrasion of the three hoses can be eliminated by installing a 250 mm (9.84 inch) length of 160-2252 Abrasion Sleeve over the three hoses. Center the abrasion sleeve where the hoses pass through the firewall. Secure the abrasion sleeve in position with two 7K-1181 Cable Straps .
These two improvements are effective with GBB1681-UP.
