A New Service Tool is Available to Allow Dealers to Access the ECM
The new service tool applies to the late model and updated Paving Compactors. Refer to Special Instruction, REHS3302, "Installation and Operation Instructions for Service Tool Software for the Control Group is Available for Asphalt Compactors". The publication provides the following: installation instructions for the software, instructions for user license for the software and proper use of the software.
The necessary software is available from the Caterpillar Service Information System (SIS).
300-7924 Cable and 300-7925 Cable Assembly are required to use the software. These cables are available through the parts system.
The special tool is only for the use of Caterpillar dealers.
