Special tall flange rollers have been released. The tall flange rollers improve undercarriage life in certain conditions. The new rollers guide the track better in the following applications:

• Toe Out / Camber / Yaw undercarriage

• Machines that are used primarily in one direction

• Machines that are used in low abrasion applications

The rollers should be installed at the following positions in order to guide the track better: (1), (2), (7) and (8). The standard double flange rollers are still used at the following positions: (3), (4), (5) and (6).

Certain low abrasion applications wear the flanges of the rollers at a faster rate than the wear surface of the roller. As the flanges wear the track may come into contact with the track guides. The contact between the track and the track guide causes "scrubbing" on the end of the track pins. The "scrubbing" on the end of the pins makes disassembly of the track difficult. The special tall flange rollers help prevent contact between the track and the track guides.

Note: Roller assemblies only contain the roller shell and the roller bearing. Roller groups are complete, ready for installation on the machine.
