Removal Procedure

Hot engine components can cause injury from burns. Before performing maintenance on the engine, allow the engine and the components to cool.

1. Open the engine enclosure.

2. Turn the disconnect switch to the OFF position.

3. Remove access panel (1) .

4. Remove exhaust heat shield (2) .

5. Remove clamp (3) .

6. Remove bolts (5). Use two people and remove muffler (4) from the machine. The weight of muffler (4) is approximately 34 kg (75 lb).

Installation Procedure

1. Use two people and install muffler (4) to the machine. The weight of muffler (4) is approximately 34 kg (75 lb). Install bolts (5) .

5. Turn the disconnect switch to the ON position.

6. Close the engine enclosure.
