Engine Compartment Shield - Remove and Install
Removal Procedure
Start By:
- Remove the cooling system package. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Cooling System Package (Radiator, Fan, Aftercooler, Oil Cooler) - Remove".
- Place the cooling system package on suitable cribbing, as shown.

- Disconnect hose (1). Disconnect hose (2) and remove tube (3). Disconnect hose (4) and remove tube (5) .

- Disconnect hose (6). Remove bolts (7) and (8). Remove expansion tank (9) .

- Disconnect hose assembly (10) .

- Remove bolts (11) and (13). Repeat for the other side. Remove engine compartment shield (12) .

Installation Procedure
- Install engine compartment shield (12). Install bolts (11) and (13). Repeat for the other side.

- Connect hose assembly (10) .

- Install expansion tank (9). Install bolts (7) and (8). Connect hose (6).

- Install tube (3) and connect hose (2). Install tube (5) and connect hose (4). Connect hose (1) .
