The Heavy Pistons are Cancelled {1214, 1225}

Description of Change: The pistons with a heavy piston skirt that are used in G3600 engines are discontinued. The heavy pistons have not been used in production since 1998. These pistons are no longer available.
The lighter replacement pistons will reduce the inertial load on the engine. Pistons with a 11:1 compression ratio are no longer available. G3600 engines with a 11:1 compression ratio must be converted to a 10.5:1 compression ratio.
Adaptable To: Table 1 lists the former pistons and the new pistons.
Note: All pistons must be changed in complete sets.
