Removal Procedure

Note: Put identification marks on all lines, on all hoses, on all wires, and on all tubes for installation purposes.

1. Turn the battery disconnect switch into the OFF position. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Battery Disconnect Switch".

2. Open doors (1) and (2) .

3. Remove bolts (3) and panel (4) .

4. Remove bolts (5) and cover (6) .

5. Disconnect negative battery cables (9). Disconnect positive battery cables (8) .

   Note: Always disconnect the negative battery cables before the positive battery cables.

6. Remove bracket assembly (7). Use two people in order to remove batteries (10). The weight of batteries (10) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb).

1. Use two people in order to install batteries (10). The weight of batteries (10) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb). Install bracket assembly (7). Connect positive battery cables (8). Connect negative battery cables (9) .

2. Install cover (6) and bolts (5) .

3. Install panel (4) and bolts (3) .

4. Close doors (1) and (2) .

5. Turn the battery disconnect switch into the ON position. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Battery Disconnect Switch".
