Clean Gas Induction Valve - Assemble

Assembly Procedure

Note: This component is being disassembled and displayed for CLEANING PURPOSES ONLY. Many internal parts are not available for this component. Care must be taken during disassembly and assembly in order to prevent damage to unavailable parts.


NOTICE

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.

Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

  1. Check O-ring seal (13) for wear or for damage. If necessary, replace O-ring seal (13) .

  1. Install housing (11). Install bolts (10). If wiper (12) is worn or damaged replace the clean gas induction valve. Install O-ring seal (9) .

  1. Install O-ring seals (8) onto valve (7). Install valve (7). Tighten valve (7) to a torque of 50 ± 5 N·m (37 ± 4 lb ft). Install coil assembly (6) and nut (5). Tighten nut (5) to a torque of 20 ± 3 N·m (15 ± 2 lb ft).

  1. Install cover (2) onto clean gas induction valve (3). Install bolts (1) .

End By: Install the clean gas induction valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Clean Gas Induction Valve - Install".
