Transmission Lubrication
All of the following components in the transmission are lubricated by pressure oil: clutches, gears and bearings. After the oil has been cooled by the oil cooler, the oil flows to the transmission case. The oil flows through internal passages in the transmission case to a passage in each transmission clutch shaft. Oil flows through cross-drilled holes in each transmission clutch shaft, to the bearings, and to the clutches, and to the gears.
