New Oil Pan is Now Available {1302}

C9 (S/N: 9DG566-7671)

Description of Change: There is a new oil pan that is now available. The new oil pan is manufactured from aluminum. The new oil pan will increase the strength of the oil pan and the stability of the oil pan.

Adaptable To: The current 210-0191 Oil Pan and 220-5710 Oil Pan have been replaced by 284-6025 Oil Pan. The new oil pan can be used on the above listed engines.

The new oil pans can be used on engines that have a front sump or engines that have a rear sump. There are new parts that are required in order to properly install the new oil pan.

The parts for engines with a rear sump are identified in Table 1.

Note: There are some chassis that require the crossmember to be loosened in order to install the new oil pan.
