Relay (Control Power Switch)
During discharge there is no power to operate the K1 input circuit breaker on the input side of the bus. So, the Control Power Relay (K9) that is located on the left panel is used to switch control power for the K1 input circuit breaker in the Input/Output Cabinet from the input bus to the output bus while the UPS is in Discharge Mode.

Removal
- Perform steps in the Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, "Internal Component Preremoval Steps (Controls Cabinet)" in order to de-energize the system and gain access to internal components.
- Disconnect the wires from the relay. The wires locations are labeled. Verify the labeling of the wires for subsequent installation.
- Remove the relay by sliding the relay off the rail to the left side.
Installation
- Attach the Relay onto the rail connected to the left panel by sliding in onto the rail from the left side.
Refer to Illustration 1 and Illustration 2 for placement.
