24V Power Supply (Flywheel Cabinet)

The 24 VDC Power Supply (1) is located on the upper plenum of the cabinet for the flywheel. The power supply (1) is a 24V/350W supply that is used to convert incoming AC voltage to 24 VDC for use by the system.
Refer to Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, RENR9988, "Internal Component Preremoval Steps (Flywheel Cabinet)" in order to shut down the system and gain access to internal components.
- Remove the three screws that secure the swing out panel for the APC board.

(2) Bolt - Remove the bolt (2) on the left side that connects the power supply (1) to the ceiling of the cabinet. Refer to Illustration 2.

(3) Tabbed Slot - Move the power supply (1) to the left. Remove the right side mount from the tabbed slot (3). Remove the power supply (1). Refer to Illustration 3.
- Disconnect the wires from the power supplies. Verify the labels on the wiring for subsequent installation.
- Connect the wires to the power supplies. Verify the labels on the wiring with the location of the wiring.
- Install the power supply (1) in the cabinet for the flywheel.
- Install the bolt (2) that connects the power supply (1) to the cabinet.
- Install the three screws that secure the swing out panel for the APC board.
