Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Clean the deposits of glue from aftercooler core (9) in order to install new seals (11). Install new seals (11) .

- Apply Tooling (B) to new O-ring seals (10). Install O-ring seals (10) onto aftercooler core (9) .

- Align the notch in aftercooler core (9) with the pin on the aftercooler housing. Carefully install aftercooler core (9) into the aftercooler housing.

- Apply Tooling (B) to new O-ring seal (7). Install O-ring seal (7). Install new seal (8) for the divider.

- Position bonnet (6) with the marks that were made during the disassembly procedure. Install bonnet (6). Install bolts (5). Tighten bolts (5) to a torque of 45 N·m (33 lb ft).

- Apply Tooling (B) to new O-ring seal (4). Install O-ring seal (4) .

- Position bonnet (1) with the marks that were made during the disassembly procedure. Install bonnet (1). Install bolts (3). Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 45 N·m (33 lb ft). Apply Tooling (C) to the threads of zinc rod (2). Install zinc rod (2). Tighten zinc rod (2) to a torque of 60 N·m (44 lb ft).
