Primary Current Transformers (1) are attached to the output of the System cabinet in order to measure the output voltage of the UPS. The Primary Current Transformers (1) convert the current in a 1500:5 ratio. The converted current is sent to the secondary current transformers (2) on the left panel.

The three secondary current transformers (2) are located on the left panel. The secondary current transformers (2) convert the current in a 5:01 ratio. The converted current is sent to the AC Interface board.

Removal Procedure and Installation Procedure for the Primary Current Transformer

Note: Call technical support for the removal procedure and the installation procedure of the primary current transformer (1).

Wire Connections for the Secondary Current Transformer

  1. Remove the four wires that connect the following posts of the current transformer (2): "H1", "H2", "X1" and "X2". The wires have a labeling to the location of the wire. Verify the labeling of the wire with the location of the wire. Refer to Illustration 5.

  2. Remove the four screws that attach the current transformer (2) to the left panel.

  3. Remove the current transformer (2) from the cabinet.

Installation Procedure for the Secondary Current Transformer

  1. Position the current transformer (2) on the left panel. Refer to Illustration 2 for the position of the current transformer (2).

  2. Attach the current transformer (2) to the left panel with four screws.

  3. Attach the four wires to the four posts of the current transformer. Refer to Illustration 5 for wire connections.
