Power Distribution Board Description

(1) Power distribution board

The power distribution board (PWD) (1) distributes the power sources. The board (1) contains the fuses for the power sources that are used throughout the system. The power sources that are distributed are the following sources: the 24 VDC power supply, the 230 VAC for the input and the 230 VAC for the output.

Removal Procedure

Refer to Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, RENR9988, "Internal Component Pre-removal Steps (MMS System Cabinet)" in order to shut down the system and gain access to internal components.

1. Disconnect all connectors. Refer to Illustration 2. Verify each labeling on the connector with the location of the wire. Verify each label on each connector.

2. Disconnect the nine white plastic standoffs that connect the board (1) to the left panel.

   Note: The board (1) must be removed from the standoffs without bending the board (1).

Installation Procedure

1. Position the board (1) in the cabinet over the nine white standoffs that are connected to the left panel.

2. Push the board (1) onto all the standoffs simultaneously. Verify that all standoffs are locked in place.

3. Connect the wire connectors into the correct connectors on the board (1). Check the labels on each connector for proper placement. Refer to Illustration 2.
