User Interface Printed Wire Assembly Description
The board for the user interface printed wire assembly (PWA) provides the interface to the front panel. Also, the board contains a buzzer which is the alarm for the UPS.
The display sends data to the controller and from the controller regarding the status of the UPS.
The board sends signals about the status of the EPO switch and the key switch back to the system controller.
The user interface board communicates with the APC by using the following forms of communication:
- Two half duplex differential serial links
- Two status lines
