4 Wire Transformer

Usage:

The 4-Wire Transformer is located in the back of the cabinet, at the bottom of the cabinet, behind the fans.

Note: On version 1 hardware, the 4-Wire Transformer is located in the back of the cabinet, at the bottom, behind the fans and metal fan plenum.

The primary voltage for the transformer enters the cabinet on the right side and connects to the 3-wire input connectors of the transformer. The secondary voltage on the transformer exits the 4-wire output connectors. The secondary voltage is sent to the 4-Wire Output cabinet to the left of the unit.

The temperature of the 4-Wire Transformer is monitored by the General Purpose Interface Board on connectors J11 and J12 via the three thermistor probes that are connected to the transformer.

4-Wire Transformer Removal and Installation

The removal and the installation of the 4-Wire Transformer are not field service procedures. For problems concerning the 4-wire transformer call a factory service technician.
