Cabinet Description
The 4-Wire Output cabinet contains the bus bar and cable landing for the output of the 4-wire UPS.
The cabinet may contain an optional 1600 A circuit breaker (K8).
The cabinet also contains the terminal strips for the customer temperature status contacts and the External Source Sync (ESS) functionality.
Wiring
The 4-Wire Output cabinet is designed for top-exit facility wiring. The cabinet output bus bars are designed to accommodate 500MCM through 750MCM facility wiring. The number of wires should be based on local codes and the size of the facility circuit breaker.
Location
The 4-Wire Output cabinet is situated at the right of the UPS system next to the 4-Wire Transformer cabinet.
Output Circuit Breaker Option
The 4-Wire Output cabinet can come in one of two configurations:
- No Circuit Breaker
- Circuit Breaker (K8)
