ESS Relay and Terminal Block |
The optional External Source SYNC (ESS) Relay (K6) and the Terminal Block are located on the right panel of the I/O cabinet. The terminal block provides a location in order to wire the external source that is being synced.
Refer to Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, RENR9988, "Internal Component Preremoval Steps (Input/Output Cabinet)" in order to shut down the system and gain access to internal components.
- Loosen the wire screws that attach the wires to the terminal block. Disconnect the wires that lead to the terminal block and from the terminal block. Verify the labeling on the wires with the location of the wire. Verify the labels on the cables.
- Remove the two screws that secure the relay and the terminal block to the right panel.
- Secure the relay and secure the terminal block to the rail.
- Attach the relay and the terminal block to the left panel with the two screws. Refer to Illustration 1.
