Description of Change: There is now an improved design for the 219-4263 Guard on the D10T. This new guard provides enhanced structural integrity in order to extend the overall life of the part in high vibration applications.

The following improvements were made to the alternator guard:

• Added circular cutout (2) around the nut for the pulley mounting bolt

• Moved front face toward the pulley and the mountings 18 mm (0.7087 inch)

• Decreased rearward length of side guards 15 mm (0.5906 inch)

• Overall change of the depth 33 mm (1.2992 inch)

• Added 10 mm (0.3937 inch) tear drop ends (1) to laser cuts

• Weight was reduced by 0.6804 kg (1.5 lb) (33% reduction).

Adaptable To: The improved alternator guard is effective with the following machines D10T (S/N: RJG766-UP). The improved alternator guard is adaptable to the following machines D10T (S/N: RJG1-765).
