Note: During assembly, the front face of the flywheel housing and the rear face of the cylinder block must be free of the following: oil, fuel, water, gasket adhesive, assembly compounds and any other foreign material.
Note: Apply 8T-9022 Silicone Gasket in order to fill the space between the cylinder block, the flywheel housing, and the oil pan.
Note: Before assembly, apply 4C-4030 Thread Lock Compound to the threads of the bolts.
(1) Torque for 12 bolts ... 105 ± 20 N·m (75 ± 15 lb ft)
(2) Torque for two bolts ... 105 ± 20 N·m (75 ± 15 lb ft)

Note: Apply 8T-9022 Silicone Gasket to the area of the gasket of the housing between points (3) and (4) .

(5) Lubricate the sealing lip of the lip type seal with the lubricant that is being sealed.
(6) Lubricate the bore of the O-ring seal lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.
