Description of Change: New articulated mirror supports are being used on the cab of the wheel loader that is specified above. The new articulated mirror supports are designed to prevent damage to the front cab windows from the brackets on the external mirrors if one of the mirrors should come in contact with an obstacle. If contact occurs, the new mirror supports are designed so that the bolts on the bracket will rotate around the bolt axis. This will prevent the bracket from moving and causing damage to the front window on the cab.
Adaptable To: The new mirror supports are compatible to 938G Series II PHN1-2431.
The new mirror supports are effective with 938G Series II PHN2432-UP.
Refer to Table 1 for the part numbers that are affected by this change. Refer to Illustrations 1 and 2 for illustrations of the former mirror group and the new mirror group.
