Installation Procedure

Note: Check the O-ring seals, the gaskets, and the seals for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary.

1. Install O-ring seal (13) (not shown).

2. Install check valve (14) .

3. Install the O-ring seal to elbow (15) .

4. Install elbow (15) and the four bolts.

5. Install the O-ring seal to elbow (16) .

6. Install elbow (16) and the four bolts.

7. Attach a suitable lifting device to vane pump (11). The weight of vane pump (11) is approximately 59 kg (130 lb).

8. Install vane pump (11) .

9. Install two bolts (12) .

10. Install the O-ring seal to tube assembly (10) .

11. Install tube assembly (10) and the four bolts.

12. Install hose assemblies (8) and (9) .

13. Connect fitting (7) to pilot oil pump check valve.

14. Install bolt (5) to bracket (6) .

15. Install cover (4) .

16. Install bracket (3) and the two bolts.

17. Install crossbeam (2) and the four bolts.

18. Install cover (1) .

19. Fill the hydraulic tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Capacities (Refill)" for the capacity of the hydraulic tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil - Change" for the proper filling procedure.

End By:

1. Install the hood. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hood - Remove and Install".
2. Remove the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Remove and Install".
